Two Quapaw, Oklahoma residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:20 p.m. Sunday on Coyote Drive four miles west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Honda VTX1300 motorcycle driven by Jose M. Robles, 44, Quapaw, struck a raccoon in the road and overturned.
Robles and a passenger, Melissa G. Robles, 43, Quapaw, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital and Mercy Joplin, respectively.
