A Carthage man was struck by a car 5:40 a.m. today on Prosperity Avenue one mile east of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Raymond H. McCoy, 55, Joplin, struck Jacob M. Davis, 31, Carthage, who was on a scooter.
Davis was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
