A Sarcoxie woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:15 a.m. today on Gum Road two miles north of Reeds.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet Captiva driven by Mary K. Peckham, 83, Sarcoxie, struck the towed unit of a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia that was parked in the roadway.
Peckham was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
