Lockwood trucker suffers serious injuries in accident near Lamar

A Lockwood man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:45 p.m. today on Route T seven miles east of Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, 2020 Freightliner driven by Travis J. Trent, 28, Lockwood, was overtaking a tractor-trailer and went off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, went off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Trent was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Springfield.
