A Carthage man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:20 a.m. today on W. 52nd Street at S. Garrison Avenue one mile south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Tesla Model S driven by Heather R. Heady, 36, Galena, Kansas, failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the right side of a 1994 Jeep Wrangler driven by Kevin W. Harris, 60, Carthage.
Harris was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Carthage.
