A Granby boy was killed in an SUV-bicycle collision 5:24 p.m. Thursday on Cole Street in Granby.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 10-year-old Granby boy riding a bicycle failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled into the path of a 2010 GMC Terrain driven by John P. Mehrens, 74, Neosho.
Dr. Matt Grounds pronounced the boy dead at the scene at 5:36 p.m.
The fatality was the 86th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
