09/30/2024 Officer responded to the 1300 block of Poplar for a report of property damage. Investigation continues.

09/30/2024 Officers received a report of an automated call from a cell phone’s crash detection software. The vehicle and owners were located and report was taken.

10/01/2024 Officer took a report of a theft of a bicycle in the 1200 block of Truman. Investigation continues.

10/05/2024 Officer took a report from an individual whose lost wallet had been returned to him; it was missing his debit card and social security card








10/02/2024 Officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Barton County Jail. While being processed at the jail, a small baggie of white crystal substance fell from inside his clothing. Driver was issued a summons for Driving While I ntoxicated – Drug Intoxication. Charges for the controlled substance is pending test results.

10/04/2024 Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of West 10th St in reference to a Domestic Assault. One person was transported to the Barton County Jail and placed on a 24 hr hold for investigation.

10/05/2024 Officer took a report of a stolen license plate. Investigation continues.
