Details: Contractor crews installing new traffic signals on poles and mast arms
Traffic Impacts
Drivers should expect lane reductions on Route 43 (Main Street) when crews are working
At least one lane on Route 43 (Main Street) OPEN at all times
All Fountain Road lanes OPEN
Work will be done Monday-Friday
Crews working daytime hours only, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
All lanes OPEN nights and weekends
Drivers are urged to use caution as crews and equipment will be working close to traffic
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zones
No signed detours
Drivers should find alternate routes around work zones
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a project to make intersection improvements and install traffic signals and street lighting on Route 43 (Main Street), Route TT (Newman Road) and Loop 43 (Range Line Road) in Joplin.

A complete joke. If they wanted to improve the intersection, they'd add turn lanes for Fountain. But instead they will inconvenience drivers for zero real gain.
