St. Louis Avenue in Joplin to close at 8th Street

On Monday, October 14, St. Louis Avenue will be closed at 8th Street. Missouri American Water contractors are replacing the water main under St. Louis Avenue, which runs along 8th Street.

The crew will start at approximately 8:30 a.m. and plans to be done by late afternoon. 

If the work takes longer, they will reopen the street for the evening and night and resume the next day.

Drivers will have access to area businesses. Please use caution while driving near this work zone. The City appreciates your patience as the improvements are completed.
