(From the Newton County Sheriff's Office)At approximately 5:45 AM on April 2, 2025, the Newton County Central Dispatch Center received a call of a structure fire at 3319 Kentucky Rd, Seneca, MO.
Fire units from Seneca City Fire, Seneca Area Fire Protection District, Redings Mill, Wyandotte Fire, and State Fire Marshal responded to the scene. Newton County Ambulance District responded to the scene as well.
Newton County Sheriff’s Office responded and is currently conducting a suspicious fire investigation along with the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office. The building is the Seneca Veterinary Clinic and the clinic has not been open for several years.
