Stella man arrested, meth seized during search warrant execution

On April 25, 2025, the Newton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, along with the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 19752 Tiger Road in rural Stella, Missouri. The warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation conducted by the Newton County Sheriff’s Office and the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team.

Detectives with the Sheriff's Office and ODET located and seized suspected methamphetamine from the residence. A firearm was also seized from the residence.








Russell J. Hall, 46, of Stella was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and unlawful use of a weapon. Hall was transported to the Newton County Jail and charges have been submitted to the Newton County Prosecutor for review.
