Jaren Hulette named Joplin High School softball coach

We are pleased to announce the hiring of Jaren Hulette as the Joplin High School Softball coach for 2025-26!

Hulette currently serves as the Assistant High School Baseball Coach and Assistant High School Softball Coach at Carthage High School. He also previously coached at Miller, Liberal, and Carl Junction. Hulette has worked in education as a Business instructor for the past seven years: five were spent at Carthage Technical Center and two at Liberal High School.
 





 
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Missouri Southern State University in 2018. In 2021, Hulette was named the Southwest Conference Coach of the Year.

"We are extremely excited for Jaren to be joining our coaching staff at Joplin High School,” said Joplin Schools Athletic Director Matt Hiatt. “Coach Hulette stands out as a hard worker and a person of strong character, who can teach the game of softball at a high level. He will be a great leader for our softball program who will push our program to new heights."

"I am incredibly blessed to join the Joplin Schools team and serve as the new head softball coach,” said Hulette. “This is a community and program with a strong competitive tradition, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to build on that foundation."
