Many bring their children with them where a new and improved childcare center is available. The recently renovated and expanded Second Steps daycare at Lafayette House is the focus of the next Newsmakers program. Knowing they have a free daycare option at the shelter has a big impact on the decision to leave and aids in their recovery.
