Jasper County Route H/Duval Creek Bridge west of Jasper to be closed

TRAFFIC ALERT: Jasper Co. Route H/Duval Creek Bridge CLOSED Beginning Week of Aug. 18

Where: Jasper County Route H bridge over Duval Creek west of Jasper

When: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Thursday, August 18-21

What: MoDOT crews making repairs to the bridge deck/driving surface

Traffic Impacts

All Route H lanes CLOSED at the bridge over Duval Creek

All Route H lanes OPEN at night

Bridge will be reconfigured as a one-lane bridge during repairs and will remain in that configuration after repairs are completed

Drivers will have access to entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the bridge

No signed detour

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Drivers should find alternate route

Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.

This bridge is scheduled to be replaced along with Jasper County Route BB/Stony Branch bridge in 2026.
