A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:20 a.m. today on MO 171 one mile west of Brooklyn Heights.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 BMW 535I driven by a 38-year-old Joplin man traveled off the right side of the roadway when the driver had a medical emergency.
He was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
