Two injured in two-motorcycle collision, Lamar man flown to Cox South


Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 2:05 p.m. Saturday on Route E, eight miles north of Golden City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited driven by a 46-year-old Liberal man pulled into the path of a 1996 Classic Guillotine Chopper driven by a 67-year-old Lamar man.







Both vehicles overturned and the riders were ejected.

The Lamar man was airlifted to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

The Liberal man was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
