Connect2Culture's annual Joplin Area Arts and Cultural Preview set for Saturday

(From Connect2Culture)

The Joplin arts and cultural community will gather for Connect2Culture’s 10th Annual Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview on Saturday, August 9, 2025, 10:00am at Connect2Culture’s home theater, the Beshore Performance Hall, inside the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex (212 W 7th Street, Joplin, MO 64801).

The Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview gives local arts and cultural organizations the chance to tell their story, share what they have planned for the year ahead (2025–2026), and explain why you might be interested!

As an annual C2C Roundtable—professional development programs that aim to educate, empower, and connect the Joplin arts and cultural community—this event offers a unique opportunity to learn, share, network, and establish connections. All leaders, supporters, and advocates are welcome to attend. Each organization will have up to two minutes to update the community. This year includes presentations from:

“This is one of our favorite annual events,” says Emily Frankoski, Executive Director of Connect2Culture. “In its tenth year, more than 25 different local arts, culture, or entertainment organizations are registered to present about their mission and upcoming programming. The coming year is going to be packed with things to do and experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to help spread the word by organizing and hosting this event!”

A recording, created by Missouri Southern State University KGCS-TV students, will be made available on Connect2Culture’s YouTube channel after the event.
