Neosho man cited for DWI, assault following head-on collision

A Neosho man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident 1:10 a.m. today on Highway 43, five miles north of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Nissan pickup driven by Larry W. Duggar, 26, Neosho, crossed the center line and ran off the left side of the roadway. After striking a culvert, Duggar attempted to return to the roadway and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Impala driven by Cathy L. Bradshaw-Howe, 60, Nixa, head-on.

Duggar was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin. Bradshaw-Howe and a passenger in her vehicle, Sharon M. Irwin, 50, Springfield, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

In addition to DWI, Duggar was charged with felony vehicular assault, careless and imprudent driving and for not having any insurance.
