The Highway Patrol arrested two men 10:13 p.m. Friday in Newton County for multiple felonies and misdemeanors, most of them drug-related.
According to the report, Gary J. Watkins, 46, Joplin,and Brian O Tramell, 41, Seneca, were arrested on the following charges:
-Felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute
-Felony possession of a controlled substance (four counts)
-Felony drug paraphernalia
-Possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana
-Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
-No seat belt
Tramell was also cited for driving while suspended and for not having any insurance.
