A Goodman man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 7:01 p.m. Saturday on East Garner Street in Goodman.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Dallas A. Gillett, 48, Goodman, driving a 2003 Qinqui scooter, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Gillett was airlifted to Freeman Mercy Hospital, Joplin, to be treated for moderate injuries.
He was also cited for driving while revoked and careless and imprudent driving.
