A MIX OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA DURING THE DAY THURSDAY. LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY EVENING BEFORE ENDING FROM THE WEST. ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. WHILE PRECIPITATION TYPE AND EXACT AMOUNTS REMAIN UNCERTAIN...THE GREATEST IMPACT OF SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS APPEAR TO BE OVER FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI WITH THIS SYSTEM. FURTHER NORTH...SNOW WILL BE MORE LIKELY...HOWEVER ACCUMULATIONS WILL LIKELY BE LIGHTER. A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI FOR THE COMBINATION OF ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND WITH ANOTHER CHANCE OF WINTER PRECIPITATION LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY.
