The Highway Patrol arrested a Carthage man for a felony immigration violation (deported felon) 1:07 p.m. today.
According to the Patrol report, Melsar A. Mejia-Cortez, 32, was also cited for no valid driver's license and for failure to stay in one lane.
Mejia-Cortez was turned over to ICE.
