Academics

·         Enrollment is NOW OPEN for the Joplin Advanced Training & Technology Center classes which will start August 21.

·         Finals Week: May 15-18. The following link is for the Neosho campus, finals schedules will differ by location:

·         Programs currently accepting application for Fall 2017 include:

·         The Nursing Programs in Neosho & Cassville are accepting application through August 15 for Spring 2018.

·         Spring 2017 Commencement Ceremonies will be held in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium on the Neosho campus, Saturday, May 20, 10am-General Studies degrees; 1pm – all other degrees and majors. Hailey Gilbreath, spring 2017 graduate, will be delivering the commencement speech. Graduation rehearsal will be held Thursday, May 18, 2pm with students meeting in the Wright Conference Center.

Athletics

·         Congratulations to all the Crowder Athletic teams as this year every program played in the Championships of the Region 16 Tournaments: Softball & Baseball took 1^st; Basketball & Soccer were runner-up. Way to go Roughriders!

·         The Roughrider Baseball team won the Region 16 tournament and will continue play as they host the South Central District tournament, May 19-21. They are ranked #2 in the NJCAA Division I poll (5-9-2017). Campus Events

·         Cabins built by CTEC Students will be auctioned TODAY, May 15, 1pm, in the CTEC gated area. The auction is open to the public with the cabins being sold to the highest bidder. Bob Lasswell & Associates will provide the auction services.

Community Events

·         Masters of the Vault, Crowder Permanent Art Collection Exhibit in the Longwell Museum, April 10-May 26, 9:00am-6:30pm Monday-Friday.  The exhibition is featuring artists such as Daisy Cook, TH Benton and more. These are all pieces in the Crowder Longwell Museum permanent collection.
