Joplin man cited for boating while intoxicated after slamming into marina breakwall at Stockton Lake

A Joplin man was charged with boating while intoxicated following an accident 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stockton Lake mile marker L2 state park marina breakwall.

According to the Highway Patrol report, Scott T. Moskalski, 50, Joplin, driving a 1956 Alumacraft open motorboat, failed to keep a proper lookout and the bow of a vessel struck the state park marina breakwall.

Moskalski was also cited for careless and imprudent driving.
