Mother, son sought by Cherokee County sheriff in connection with death of Tulsa man

Investigators with the Cherokee County (Kansas) Sheriff’s Office are attempting to locate and interview Diana Marie Bohlander and her son Ty Lee Bohlander in connection with the death investigation of 64 year-old James Alan McFarland.

McFarland, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was found dead on April 30, 2017. During the course of the investigation, detectives have identified Diana and Ty Bohlander as being acquaintances of McFarland and believe they had recent contact with him.

Diana Bohlander is described as a 55 year-old white female, 5’03, 130 pounds with blue eyes.

Ty Bohlander, age 21, is a white male, 6’02, 235 pounds also with blue eyes.

Both Bohlanders are believed to be homeless, but have
frequented shelters, campgrounds and hotels in the Tulsa, Oklahoma.

They are likely driving a green 1994 Chevrolet Camaro with Oklahoma License Plate CZR875. There is a “Punisher” decal on the back window.
