A Sarcoxie teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:50 p.m. Wednesday on Route E, seven miles east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet truck driven by Hunter J. Acheson, 16, Sarcoxie, slid off the roadway, struck an embankment and a tree.
Acheson was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
