According to the Highway Patrol report, a vehicle struck the rear of a 2020 Kia Soul driven by Matthew D. Henderson, 40, West Leisenring, Pennsylvania, causing it to run into the median, then left the scene without stopping.
Henderson and a passenger, Chebonnie J. Lindsey, 43, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
