Jasper County Routes N and C northeast of Carthage to be closed

TRAFFIC ALERT: Jasper County Routes N & C CLOSED Northeast of Carthage Week of Aug. 16 for Pipe Work

Where:
Jasper County Route N (Base Line Boulevard) between Jasper County Road 48 and Missouri Route 37 northeast of Carthage

Jasper County Route C between Jasper County Road 10 and Jasper/Lawrence county line

When: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, August 16-20

What: Routes N & C CLOSED one at a time to allow contractor crews to replace a drainpipe underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

All lanes CLOSED where crews are working for up to two days at each location

All lanes OPEN during nighttime hours

Once work is finished on one route, crews will move to work on the next one

Drivers will have access to driveways at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone

No signed detour

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Drivers urged find alternate route

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
