Alba man airlifted to Cox South following head-on collision

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:08 p.m. Monday on Highway M, four miles west of Rueter in Taney County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Toyota Yaris driven by James C. Wolfe, 20, Cedarcreek, crossed the center line and struck a 2013 Cadillac ATS driven by Shane B. Farran, 44, Alba, head on.

Farran was airlifted to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

Wolfe was treated for minor injuries at Cox Hospital, Branson.
