Neosho, Goodman teens injured in collision on 59

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 8:18 a.m. Wednesday on MO 59, two miles north of Goodman.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Elizabeth R. Gannan, 18, Goodman, was stopped to make a left turn and was struck from behind by a 2000 Ford Escape driven by a 16-year-old Neosho boy.

The boy was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Urgent Care, Neosho.

Gannan was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
