1. To the stand-up citizen that hit a vehicle and took off from the scene. Guess what??? We know who you are by the photos the victim got and the information you left. That makes our jobs easier and since dealing with you prior, we know where you live or have been staying. Your citations will be in the mailbox by the end of this week.

 
2. The off-ramps at Exit 29 have these big red, eight-sided signs with white lettering. What most know to be called a stop sign. They are not optional, they are not suggestions. We don't want to pick up your vehicle off of the interstate when you get hit by those traveling on High Street at 45+ miles per hour.

 
3. Who has lived here long enough to know what the speed limit is at 5th and High? 45mph right? Well, Sir, you should know that it is not 72 miles per hour and we have people, including kids that cross that intersection. So here is your invitation to see our awesome Judge and City Prosecutor next month. Have a good day.

 
4. We know who are, we know who you run with, we know you have drug charges. We also know that those tags don't belong to the vehicle you are driving. We sat, we waited until you moved, we snagged you. A K9 search was performed. K9 alert. 

A search of the vehicle ensued. Some contraband was found, you two were placed under arrest. You, Sir decided to take off on foot. Wrong choice, one officer chased on foot, one chased in the patrol vehicle. Your clumsiness made you visible. You were caught. You both were taken to jail on several charges pending at the Jasper County Prosecutor's Office.

 
5. If you have received a citation from us for your property, you'll have another one by the end of the week if you have not cleaned up your property. We do not pick on, pick and choose who gets a notice and/or citation. Our weekly nuisance checks were completed yesterday, more notices have been sent out. You have been warned.
