Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:40 a.m. Friday on U.S. 71 at Route OO in Jane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Toyota Sequoia driven by Kiyle J. Chiou, 31, Carl Junction, failed to maintain the right half of the roadway, crossed into the turning lane, struck the curb, traveling over it and hitting the left rear of a 2013 BMW 328 driven by Teresa J. Wehby, 53, Brentwood, Tennessee.
Wehby was treated for moderate injuries and two passengers in the Chiou vehicle, a 10-year-old boy and a 4-year-old boy were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
