According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Sammy D. Huff, 39, Joplin, struck a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Jeff A. Zimmerman, 40, Carl Junction, which was backing onto the roadway from the shoulder.
Zimmerman was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
