Webb City man cited for DWI, leaving the scene of a crash, teenager injured

A Webb City man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and felony leaving the scene of a crash following a two-vehicle collision 8:30 p.m. Sunday on I-44, six miles east of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda Accord driven by Roberto J. Carballo Gomez struck the rear of a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Michael L. Wallace, 52, Wyandotte, Oklahoma.









A passenger in the Wallace vehicle, a 14-year-old boy, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Carballo Gomez was also cited for following too closely.
