Seven-year-old Sarcoxie boy injured in collision on E. 20th

 A 7-year-old Sarcoxie boy was injured in a two-vehicle collision 12:11 p.m. today on E. 20th Street, a quarter of a mile east of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kristal L. Manning, 41, Sarcoxie, and a 2009 Mazda 5 driven by Mitchell K. Brown II, 38, Joplin, were traveling westbound on E. 20th when the Brown vehicle struck the Manning vehicle.

A passenger in the Manning vehicle, the 7-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
