Sarcoxie man suspect in theft of teen's state champion wrestling rings, dead grandmother's car

On 08/14/22, at approximately 530 am, a gold Chrysler 300 was stolen from our Casey's.

 
Due to no officer being on duty at the time, Jasper County Sheriff’s Office took the report. The report has since been transferred back to our department.

 
The victim, an 18-year-old male was stuck in a ditch and was helped out by some gentlemen and then was driven to Casey's. Once the victim went inside, a male stole the vehicle. The male used the victim's bank cards in another jurisdiction.

 
The victim is missing his cell phone, two high school state wrestling championship rings (pictured), and $400 in cash. May we also say that the victim is to go off to college soon and it was his deceased grandmother's vehicle.

 
The vehicle was located and recovered at CR 80 and Apple this morning.

 
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Roscoe Rickman. He is our prime suspect in this crime. We would like to have a heart to heart with Mr. Rickman. Please let him know we are looking for him and will find him.
