Carthage Junior High placed on lockdown while law enforcement searched neighborhood for dangerous individual

The Carthage Junior High was placed on precautionary lockdown around 2:45pm. 

The Carthage Police Department was assisting The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office in locating a potentially dangerous individual at a residence in close proximity to the school.
