8/22/2022 Officer took a past tense theft report from the 1200 block of Truman. Investigation continues.

08/22/2022 Officer was contacted by a citizen while on patrol in the 500 block of Truman regarding thefts and disturbances at his residence. Investigation continues.

08/23/2022 Officers received a call regarding property damage in the 800 block of E. 19th. Investigation continues.








8/26/2022 Officer took a report of a past-tense assault that occurred in the 800 block of E. 19th. One subject was arrested and charged with First Degree Assault and First Degree Vehicle Tampering. Subject is being held in the Vernon County Jail.

8/27/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of E. 9th St. for a report of harassment. This was related to the past-tense assault case. During the investigation, it was found that the car the subject was driving had been stolen from out in the county.

8/28/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of E. 19th St. in reference to a possible prowler. Suspect was not located. Investigation continues.
