Joplin teen arrested at Galena motel, meth confiscated

On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Officers with the Galena Police Department were dispatched to the Galena Motel for a check welfare.
 
Upon arrival, contact was made with 18-year-old Gabriel Davis in room 16. Suspected Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia were laying in plain view in the room. 

Davis was taken into custody, and the room was secured. Officers secured a search warrant, and returned. During the search of the room, more suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located.








Davis is currently being held at the Cherokee County jail in lieu of a $6,000 bond for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition to the narcotics charges, Davis is also being held on two warrants out of Jasper County, Missouri.

  1. This Gabriel Davis Drug Dealer caused my son to Over dose at the Casey's on 7th and Schiffendcker in April, should be a police and hospital report. My son died Aug 8th. Someone gave him fentanyl. He messaged my sons phone on Aug 23. I have wondered if he had anything to do with it. I HOPE HE'S STILL IN JAIL! I HOPE YOU ROT IN JAIL!
