Jasper Police arrest Greenfield man after traffic stop, meth confiscated

On Monday, November 7th, 2022 @ 1454 hours, a Jasper PD officer initiated a traffic stop near Mercer St. and 3rd St., Jasper, Missouri, on a blue 1988 Chevrolet truck.
 
The officer made contact with the driver, Jason Kennedy (Greenfield), and the front passenger, Devin Kennedy (Greenfield). Jason advised he did not have a driver's license and that he was revoked.








The office gave Jason's information to dispatch. Dispatch advised Jason had a revoked Missouri driver's license and advised Jason had an active felony warrant for probation violation out of Wright County.

The officer search the vehicle and located the following:
 
*Tin container with (2) baggies containing about 2 grams total of a white powder substance. (Located in a tray on the floorboard in between the driver's seat and passenger seat) ##Field tested positive for methamphetamine.








After questioning, Jason admitted the plastic baggies with the white powder inside was his, and that it was in fact methamphetamine.

Jason Kennedy is facing charges for driving while revoked and possession of a controlled substance.
