11/21/2022 Officers were dispatched to Walmart Supercenter for a report of shoplifting. One person was arrested on a warrant out of Vernon County and one person was issued a summons for stealing/shoplifting. Both were transported to the Barton County Jail for processing.

11/21/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of College for a possible verbal domestic. One person was arrested for domestic assault and transported to the Barton County Jail for processing.

11/21/2022 Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of 200 W. 10th St. for a report of property damage. A report was completed for this event.

11/22/2022 Officer took a report of the theft of a rear license plate. Later in the day, officers were dispatched to WalMart in reference to a possible stolen vehicle. The stolen license plate was on the possible stolen vehicle.

11/22/2022 Officer conducted a traffic stop. Driver was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Barton County Jail. The driver was issued a summons for Driving While Intoxicated 1st offense and was released to a sober driver.








11/22/2022 Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Truman regarding damage to mailboxes. Investigation continues.

11/23/2022 Officer conducted a car stop near 11th & Francis. Driver was arrested for DUI Drugs. The driver was transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and released. Probable Cause paperwork was sent to the Barton County Prosecutor for driving under the influence of drugs.

11/26/2022 Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to shoplifting. The suspects had already left the store. Investigation continues.

11/27/2022 Officer observed a suspect of possession of stolen property walking down the street. Suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property and transported to the Barton County Jail. Suspect voluntarily stated he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Probable Cause paperwork was submitted to the Prosecutor.

11/27/2022 Reporting party made a report of harassment. Felony Probable Cause paperwork was completed for first degree harassment.
