(From the City of Sarcoxie)Detailed below is the schedule and lineup for the 2022 Christmas on the Square & Business Expo being held on Saturday, December 3rd, on the Sarcoxie Historic Square:
2:00 PM Expo Begins
Pickup Punch Cards (future site of the Sarcoxie License Office within
the Sarcoxie Red Front building)
2:30 PM Mrs. Claus Reads Stories (On Gazebo)
Face Painting (On Gazebo)
(If inclement weather arises, these events will be relocated to the Sarcoxie Red Front building)
4:00 PM Mr. & Ms. Merry Christmas Coronation (presented by Chief Sarcoxie
Days Committee)
4:30 PM Parade Lineup & Judging of Floats (Sarcoxie High School front parking
lot)
Turn in Punch Cards (Sarcoxie Red Front building)
4:45 PM Float, Window, Basket, & Business Awards (on Gazebo)
5:15 PM Parade Starts
Parade Details
- For the safety our youngsters and patrons, candy will NOT be thrown from any vehicle or float in the parade. Candy is ALLOWED to be thrown from walkers alongside vehicles or floats.
- ROUTE: Starting at 17th St and Center St going east on Center St to Sarcoxie Historic Square, then backwards around the Square to head south on 5th St, then going west on Joplin St back to 17th St, then north back to Sarcoxie High School.
Giveaway Baskets: The goal for this year was to help increase the value of our baskets than ever before. The baskets contain a large variety of prizes, including cash and gift certificates, which offers the basket values to be over $500.
