According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford F250 driven by Logan D. Mitchell, 21, Goodman, traveled off the roadway on a curve and struck a tree.
Deputy McDonald County Coroner Johnathan Fletcher pronounced Mitchell dead at the scene at 12:20 a.m.
The fatality was the 101st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
