(From Joplin Schools)Joplin High School seniors Aidan Koch and Daniel Fajardo have been named National Merit Semi-Finalists, placing them in the top 1% of students nationally who took the PSAT/NMSQT assessments last fall.
Koch is a member of Sound Dimension, Distance Running, Student Council, Math League, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society and more.
After graduation, he plans to major in Economics and pursue an MBA with the goal of helping companies integrate sustainable and globally-minded business practices into their emerging markets.
Fajardo is a member of Math League, and enjoys playing the piano. His post-secondary plans include possibly following a computer science or pre-med course of study.
