Seneca residents suffer serious injures in motorcycle crash

Two Seneca residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 3 p.m. Sunday on MO 43 three miles south of Redings Mill.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic driven by James R. Ward, 53, Seneca, swerved to avoid slowed traffic and overturned, ejecting both occupants.

Ward and a passenger, Aimee N. Alverson, 47, Seneca, were treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
