(From the Newton County Sheriff's Office)On September 10th, Newton County Deputies conducted two car stops that were associated with 3321 Kentucky Road. This location has recently been associated with drug activity investigations as well as a hang out for people with felony warrants.
It was also connected with the investigation and indictment of Jason D. Gibson, Seneca. The press release for that indictment was released yesterday by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
The two car stops resulted in one arrest for driving while suspended and one arrest for possession of a controlled substance. The investigation from the car stops resulted in a search warrant being obtained through the court for the Kentucky Road address.
After serving the search warrant Newton County Deputies were able to locate and seize approximately one and one half ounces of methamphetamines. They also located and seized several rifles that appeared to be fully automatic weapons as well as rifle suppressors Including the full auto weapons, a total of 30 firearms were seized due to the narcotics in the residence.
Sara Sue Clark of Seneca, MO was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The investigation continues.
