(This post has been edited to correct the identity of the driver of the 2020 Dodge Journey. It originally said the 14-year-old girl was driving. That was not the case. She was a passenger in the vehicle. I apologize for the error.)
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:52 a.m. today on MO 86 two miles west of Newtonia.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Dodge Journey driven by Jacob W. Mosley, 18, Stella, attempted to make a left turn onto westbound 86 from Raccoon Road and failed to yield to a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Kristi N. Raulston, 47, Stark City.
A passenger in the Mosley vehicle, a 14-year-old Stella girl, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Raulston was treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
