This event is free of charge and is an excellent opportunity to share in festive holiday cheer and greetings and to meet the staff and volunteers.
Pause and listen to local musicians, Robin’s Hood, as they entertain visitors with their jazzy renditions of holiday favorites, along with original compositions. Create ornaments and nature crafts at make-and-take stations. Enjoy seasonal refreshments like hot chocolate and cookies! Stay for a walk on the trail or take in the excellent film showing in the theatre.
1:00 p.m. Ornament make-and-take stations begin in the science lab: fancy folded paper ornaments, pomanders, nature wreaths, luminaries, ornament globes, birdseed pinecones, and paper chains

All day: A special exhibit of George Washington Carver’s handmade Christmas cards, plus selections from Missouri Slave Narratives
Struggle and Triumph – The Legacy of George Washington Carver film, showing in the theater every 45 minutes, beginning at 9:15 a.m.
Ranger-guided tours of the trail at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The park is located two miles west of Diamond, Missouri on Highway V, then ¼ mile south on Carver Road.
