Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 4:03 p.m. Wednesday on Route W two miles west of Butterfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2020 Peterbilt 337 Bobtail driven by Robert L. Craig, 59, Purdy, failed to yield to a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Helmer Paul, 45, Noel.
A passenger in the Paul vehicle, Angela Ehmes, 30, Noel, was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with serious injuries.
Another passenger, Wexy George, 29, Noel, was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman.
Craig, Paul and another passenger in the Paul vehicle, Jack Sakarias, 39, Noel, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Cassville.
