Grove man flown to Freeman following accident west of Lanagan

A Grove, Oklahoma man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:33 p.m. Monday on Highway DD three miles west of Lanagan.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Toyota Forerunner driven by Hunter A. Douthit, 30, Grove, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Douthit was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, to be treated for serious injuries.
